Cost guidance and design inspiration for your house extension
A feasibility study is essentially a ‘taster package’ developed by RMP Projects to enable you to explore what work you can do to your property before making a full commitment to proceed.
The study can be done before making final decisions about the extent of the brief, when you want to complete the work, or even if you definitely want the work done at all. It is entirely non-committal, so this leaves you free to explore whether you might prefer to work with other architecture practices to complete the rest of the project.
Typically when working with an architect, clients need to commit to spending a few thousand pounds on design fees before they can have an idea of build costs. The purpose of the feasibility study is to give you insight about overall costs as early as possible, so that you have an idea whether the project is financial feasible before spending a large amount of money on design work.
What is included?
Site visit to the property to discuss your hopes and ambitions. All travel costs within 2hrs travel from London included in the fixed fee. If your site is further away, additional travel costs will be charged but discussed and agreed beforehand.
1hr zoom meeting where the feasibility study is presented on the screen.
PDF copy of the Feasibility Study which will be emailed to you following on from the zoom meeting. This will contain feedback on your design brief, a sketch plan, guideline costs and reference images of completed projects. See below for more info.
How much does it cost?
